Need to send your ticket to someone else? EVENT Live makes it easy to transfer tickets securely through your account. Both the sender and the recipient have a role in completing the transfer, ensuring full control and transparency for everyone involved.

Ticket Transfer Process Overview

  • Tickets are transferred through your EVENT Live account

  • The sender initiates the transfer

  • The recipient must accept or reject it

  • Full ownership only changes once the transfer is accepted

From your order list, choose the order containing the ticket(s) and click Transfer Button to open the Transfer Page

FAQs

Is ticket transfer free on EVENT Live?
Yes. EVENT Live allows ticket transfers at no additional cost.
Can I transfer only some tickets from my order?
Yes. You can select one or multiple tickets from the same order, as long as they are available for transfer.
Why are some tickets greyed out and unavailable for transfer?
Greyed-out tickets are not eligible for transfer. This may be because: 1. The ticket has already been used 2. The ticket is already pending transfer 3. The event organizer has restricted transfers
What happens if the recipient doesn’t respond to the transfer email?
The ticket will remain pending until the recipient either accepts or rejects the transfer. During this time, the sender will not have access to the ticket.
Can the sender cancel a ticket transfer?
Yes. The sender can cancel a ticket transfer only if the recipient has not yet accepted it. To cancel a transfer: 1. Log in to your EVENT Live account 2. Go to the Transfer page 3. Locate the transfer you want to cancel 4. Click the Cancel button under the Actions column Once canceled, the ticket(s) will immediately return to the sender’s account.
Does the recipient receive a different ticket or QR code from the original ticket?
Yes. Once the transfer is successfully completed, a new ticket/QR code is generated for the recipient. This is done for security purposes: 1. It prevents the original sender from using the ticket if they have a copy (screenshot or printed version) 2. It ensures that only the recipient’s ticket is valid at entry
